Hi, I'm Pascal Deruyck, and in 2011 I started with photography at the art academy of Menen. For years I had been influenced by painters as Dali, Giger, Royo and sorayama, and by photographers as Newton, Lagrange, DeMulder and Lindbergh.

Also popular hollywood movies and shows influenced me to start making my own images of a fantasy world that has been brooding in my mind for all those years.

My pictures try to tell a story and bring emotion to the viewer, the characters are so real and humane in their poses and expressions, as a viewer you get totally sucked into their fantasy world.

Portraits and nudes have become the form I'm identifying my work, wich are a mix of filmstills and vintage film noir portraits set in specific locations and dressed with the right accesories.
